Sponsoring

When assessing sponsoring requests, Zwanenberg applies the following principles and criteria:

  • Sponsoring projects should preferably be aimed at reaching a large group of people and at increasing the name awareness of Zwanenberg and its other brands.
  • Zwanenberg wants its products to contribute to a healthy and conscious lifestyle. Sponsoring projects should therefore preferably be related to a healthy and conscious lifestyle.
  • Sponsoring projects should preferably have a direct link to the activities of the Zwanenberg Food Group, namely the production, packaging and marketing of deli meats and specialty products.
  • Sponsoring projects must be in keeping with the Zwanenberg CSR policy and must contribute to a positive image with regard to Zwanenberg.

Being a Twente based company, Zwanenberg has been a sponsor of the premier league football club, FC Twente, for many years now. This form of communication emphasises the importance of Zwanenberg as an important employer in the region, and helps increase the Zwanenberg name awareness substantially. On the employment market too, this sponsoring results in greater name awareness and popularity for Zwanenberg. Zwanenberg also uses the sponsoring of FC Twente as a relations marketing instrument, by inviting important clients and other business relations to attend an FC Twente match occasionally. The latest branch news is exchanged in the stadium and the friendship ties strengthened. Zwanenberg also supports other sports clubs and events, in the field of golf, hockey and triathlon for example.
