Zwanenberg Academy
Zwanenberg has developed its own training course in cooperation with the AOC Oost in Almelo. It’s a basic course in meat technology and four follow-up courses at the Business Unit level. Employees currently working for the company, to whom this course is relevant, are given the opportunity to follow this basic course. Future employees will also follow this internal course, so that all employees will have (basic) know-how of meat technology.
(Management) Traineeships
Zwanenberg has developed a Traineeship at both the Academic and HBO levels. This new inflow is crucial in order to guarantee new input and development within the organisation, and trainees are therefore given plenty of space to develop and to implement their proposals for improvement.
APL
The Accreditation of Prior Learning system allows Zwanenberg employees to convert know-how and experience already acquired into a nationally recognised diploma. Where development of employees is possible/necessary, a training plan is compiled to meet the individual requirements, in the form of a tailor-made training programme established in cooperation with AOC Oost in Almelo.
Management Development
It’s imperative for the organisation that employees continue to develop and constantly apply their know-how and experience at Zwanenberg. Alongside APL at the MBO (Secondary Vocational) level, Zwanenberg has also introduced Management Development for the more senior positions.
VAPRO
Employees with sound machine know-how are essential for the continuity and quality of our production process. Zwanenberg therefore stimulates employees who want to continue their development, to follow a VAPRO Basic, A or B course.
General training
Zwanenberg always offers its employees opportunities for self development, which is why they can also follow a training/course on their own initiative.
