(Management) Trainee HBO and Academic

There are plenty of opportunities at Zwanenberg for young, ambitious HBO and academic graduates for whom enterprise and self development is a matter of course. Have you recently graduated and would you like to continue developing your know-how, then why not apply for a Zwanenberg Traineeship?

The purpose of the development process is to eventually grow to become a successful manager, by means of contributing to widely oriented improvement projects in various (production) environments. During a personal interview, we shall look at your personal wishes and ambitions, before coupling these to Zwanenberg in order to be able to compile as personal a development process as possible. The entire process takes around three years, during which time there are options for project based work, a permanent position in the organisation or a combination of these two.

During the development process, you will have regular feedback from your personal coach.

Once you’ve completed the entire course of development, you’ll be employed in a permanent job at Zwanenberg.

HBO and Academic graduate theses

As Zwanenberg believes so strongly in development, the company offers students graduation opportunities. This is possible within various disciplines, varying from Production to Marketing, and from Finance to Quality. Due to the great diversity within the organisation, Zwanenberg does not have a standard graduation assignment, and instead develops it in consultation with the student. Once the assignment has been formulated, it is coupled to a graduation supervisor at Zwanenberg. He or she will meet regularly with the student in order to discuss the progress made, and will coach the student where necessary in order to be sure of completing the assignment with success.

LBO/MBO/HBO practical training

As Zwanenberg believes so strongly in development, the company offers school pupils and students training opportunities. This is possible within various disciplines, varying from Production to Marketing, and from Finance to Quality. Due to the great diversity within the organisation, Zwanenberg does not have a standard practical training location. Thanks to the geographic spread around the Netherlands, there is always a Zwanenberg location near your school or home town.

You can opt for a supervised training within a department, for project based work or a combination of these two. This will be arranged in consultation with the pupil/student. The practical training location will (and indeed must) meet with the requirements of the educational establishment.

The trainee will be provided with a supervisor at Zwanenberg who regularly evaluates the progress made and provides support where necessary.
