Zwanenberg Academy

Zwanenberg has developed a course together with AOC Oost [Agricultural Training Centre] in Almelo. The programme covers an introductory course in meat technology and four further courses at Business Unit level. Current employees for whom this course is relevant are given the opportunity to follow this introductory course. Future employees will also follow this internal training programme. This means every employee possesses (basic) knowledge of meat technology.

(Management) Traineeships

Zwanenberg has developed a Traineeship at both academic and higher vocational level. This new intake is crucial to ensuring fresh input and development within the organization. For this reason, trainees are given plenty of room to develop and to implement their suggestions for improvement.

Continually developing with intermediate vocational education

At various Zwanenberg sites, employees have either obtained a recognized intermediate vocational diploma or are following a training course. The courses vary from intermediate vocational level 1 to level 4. Examples include courses for (all-round) operator, nutrition manager, etc. These courses are nationally recognized and are fully coordinated to our own production process.

Management Development

It is essential for the organization that employees further develop their expertise and experience and continue to apply it within Zwanenberg. In addition to EVC [= Valuation & Validation of Prior Learning, or VPL] at intermediate vocational level, Zwanenberg has created the Management Development course for higher positions.

VAPRO

Employees with thorough expertise of machinery are essential to the continuity and quality of our production process. For this reason, Zwanenberg encourages its personnel who wish to develop further to follow a VAPRO Introductory course, A or B.

General training

The opportunity to develop yourself is always available within Zwanenberg. Employees are free to follow training/courses under their own initiative.
